Applicants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of admission. There is no upper age limit — we welcome career-changers and those returning to study.

A 10+2 (or equivalent) qualification from a recognised board is the minimum requirement. Candidates with relevant prior experience in animal care may also be considered on a case-by-case basis.

No prior experience is required. Our programs are designed to take complete beginners through to job-ready professionals. A genuine passion for animal welfare matters more than experience.

Coursework and assessments are conducted in English. We expect a working level of spoken and written English so you can engage fully with our international guest faculty and curriculum.

We offer residential certificate and diploma programs in exotic animal care, wildlife rehabilitation, aquatics, and zoo & sanctuary management. Each program combines classroom theory with hands-on enclosure work on our working farm.

Yes — our curriculum is built around the Five Freedoms of Animal Welfare and is shaped by international expertise in zookeeping, wildlife veterinary care, and conservation.

All flagship programs are full-time and residential. Selected workshops and short courses are available on a part-time or weekend basis.

Our campus is set on a working farm in Yelahanka, Bengaluru — about 30 minutes from the city centre and 20 minutes from Kempegowda International Airport.

The campus includes classrooms, a veterinary care station, working enclosures for the animals in our care, an aquatics block, an in-house library, and residential accommodation for students.

Yes, residential accommodation is included for full-time program students. Rooms are twin-sharing and meals are provided in the on-campus dining hall.

Our resident animals include reptiles, birds, small mammals, and aquatics — all rescued or rehomed. Students work with these animals daily under qualified supervision.

Our alumni work as zookeepers, wildlife rehabilitators, aquarists, sanctuary curators, veterinary assistants, and conservation educators across India and abroad.

Yes. We maintain an active network of zoos, sanctuaries, NGOs, and aquariums and run placement drives in the final term of each program. Placement is not guaranteed but actively supported.

All long-form programs include a supervised internship at a partner facility. Past partners include WWF India, leading zoos, marine aquariums, and wildlife rescue organisations.

Class 10 and 12 marksheets, a government-issued photo ID, a recent passport-sized photograph, and a 300-word statement of purpose explaining why you want to work with animals.

There is no written entrance exam. Selection is based on your application, statement of purpose, and the interview.

Fees vary by program and are listed on each program page. They cover tuition, accommodation, meals, and access to all on-campus facilities.

Yes — we offer need-based and merit-based scholarships through the LSeT Foundation each intake. Details are shared with shortlisted candidates during the interview stage.

Yes. Most programs allow fees to be paid in two or three instalments across the duration of the course. Please speak to our admissions team for a personalised plan.

Mornings start with enclosure rounds and animal care duties, followed by classroom sessions, practical labs, and supervised field work. Evenings are reserved for self-study, peer projects, or campus activities.

Yes — students lead photography, conservation outreach, and welfare advocacy clubs. We also host regular guest lectures and field visits to wildlife reserves.

We deliberately keep cohorts small — typically 15-20 students per intake — so every learner gets close mentorship from our resident and visiting faculty.
