A one-month intensive certification in equine husbandry, handling, and health management. From stable management and nutrition to breeding protocols, hoof care, and equine behaviour - taught dawn to dusk by Navaneet Murugesh, founder of Equine Breeding India with over two decades in India's equestrian ecosystem. This course doesn't just teach theory. It immerses you in the practical realities of advanced equine care - giving you the skills to manage a high-standard facility, assist veterinary teams, or become an indispensable asset in any stable or training yard.

Course Curriculum

Stable Management & Nutrition

Barn design, maintenance, and safety protocols. Mucking, bedding types, and waste management. Dietary requirements across age and activity levels, feed types, and ration calculation.

Routine Health & Veterinary Care

Vital signs assessment (temperature, pulse, respiration), preventive health schedules, vaccinations, deworming, and recognising common ailments like colic and laminitis.

Equine Breeding & Genetics

Reproductive anatomy, estrous cycles, natural service vs. artificial insemination protocols, semen handling, prenatal care, foaling management, and genetic selection.

Equine Training & Behaviour

Equine ethology, groundwork, lunging, desensitisation, conditioning programs, and fitness management across disciplines.

Advanced Grooming & Farriery

Advanced clipping, trimming, coat and mane management, equine massage, bandaging, and hoof care fundamentals — including identifying and treating common hoof problems.
